Horse racing has been my passion since I first watched Secretariat win the Triple Crown on TV! Little did I know that shortly after I would be introduced to Santa Anita Racetrack, where I went on a tour of the backside and saw the horses and the people who worked with them. After I graduated from college with an Animal Science Degree, I went to work on the back side with the race horses! Such a learning experience! I had 20+ years of working and learning in a full time job with the horses, first as a Hot Walker, then Groom, then Exercise Rider and Assistant Trainer. I worked for and learned from very good horsemen, many Hall of Fame Trainers. This passion I have I want to share with you, and I do so through the lens of my camera!
